I WILL HEAR WHAT THE LORD WILL SAY
“I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for He will speak peace unto His people, and to His saints.”
— Psalm 85:8 (KJV)
God is a speaking God. He is not silent, distant, or indifferent. He continually communicates His will, His wisdom, and His direction to His children. The assurance of the believer is not merely that God speaks, but that we can hear Him.
David declared with confidence, “I will hear what the Lord will say.” This was a posture of expectation and attentiveness. He understood that God’s voice brings peace, clarity, and direction. Whenever God speaks, confusion ends, fear is silenced, and light floods the heart.
Today, God speaks primarily through His Word, illuminated by the Holy Spirit. The Scriptures are alive, and as you open them in faith, God addresses you personally. His voice brings peace to troubled hearts, answers to questions, and guidance for every step of your journey.
As a child of God, you are not left to guess your way through life. Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice.” Hearing God is your heritage. Your spirit is tuned to His frequency, and your heart is receptive to His instructions.
Make it your daily confession and expectation: I will hear what the Lord will say. As you quiet your heart and focus on His Word, His peace will guard you, His wisdom will lead you, and His voice will continually guide your steps.
Hallelujah!
