GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”
— Luke 2:14 (KJV)
This proclamation by the angels announced one of the greatest moments in history—the manifestation of God’s glory through the birth of Jesus Christ. It was not merely a song of celebration; it was a divine declaration of God’s eternal plan revealed to mankind.
Glory belongs to God alone because all things originate from Him and exist for His purpose. When Christ came, God’s glory was no longer distant or hidden; it was revealed in human form. Jesus became the visible expression of God’s glory, bringing peace to the earth and restoring fellowship between God and man.
The glory of God is His excellence, majesty, and power made manifest. In Christ, this glory now dwells in us. The Bible says, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” This means the same glory celebrated by angels is now resident in the believer’s spirit.
As children of God, our lives are meant to reflect His glory. Through our words, actions, and worship, we give expression to His greatness. When we live according to His Word, we reveal His nature and cause others to glorify Him.
Today, lift your heart and voice in praise. Let every aspect of your life declare this eternal truth: Glory to God in the highest! For His glory is revealed in Christ, established in you, and expressed through you.
Hallelujah!
