The God Who Gives Increase

SCRIPTURE: “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”1 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV)

MESSAGE

In life, we all have a part to play—planting, watering, serving, working—but the increase always comes from od. This truth keeps us humble in success and hopeful in seasons when results seem slow. Our effort matters, but God is the source of growth, progress, and multiplication.

Sometimes we are tempted to measure our lives by visible results. We pray, we serve, we give, and we wonder why things haven’t changed yet. But increase is not produced by anxiety or human strength; it is released by divine timing. Just as a seed grows silently beneath the soil before it appears above ground, God works behind the scenes before the harvest becomes visible.

The God who gives increase is not limited by the economy, people’s opinions, or your past. When He decides to lift you, no force can stop it. A single touch of His favor can produce what years of struggle could not achieve. That is why our confidence must remain in Him, not merely in our abilities or connections.

Increase from God is also all-round. He doesn’t only bless spiritually; He brings growth in wisdom, influence, peace, provision, and impact. When God increases you, your life becomes evidence of His faithfulness.

So keep planting good seeds. Keep watering with prayer, diligence, and obedience. Do not despise small beginnings. The same God who causes seeds to grow is causing your efforts, dreams, and prayers to produce a harvest that will glorify His Name.

CONFESSION

God is the source of my increase.
My efforts are blessed, and my seeds are growing.
I experience growth in every area of my life—spiritually, financially, and in influence.
I do not struggle for increase; I receive it from the Lord.
My harvest is sure and unstoppable, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

PRAYER

Father, thank You because You are the One who gives increase. Help me to remain faithful in planting and watering. Teach me to trust Your timing and not grow weary in doing good. I receive divine growth, supernatural progress, and visible results that glorify You, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
