Help From Above
SCRIPTURE: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:1–2 (KJV)
MESSAGE
There are moments in life when human help is limited. People may care, but they don’t always have the power, resources, or wisdom to solve what you are facing. That is when you must remember where your true help comes from — above.
David didn’t say his help came from connections, strength, or experience. He looked higher. He understood that the Maker of heaven and earth is more than able to handle anything that concerns him. When God steps in, impossibilities lose their voice.
Help from above means divine intervention. It means God stepping into situations you cannot fix and doing what only He can do. He brings solutions you didn’t think of, sends helpers you didn’t know, and creates openings you could never force.
Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Notice that it says present help — not late help, not distant help. When you call on Him, He responds. When you are weak, He supplies strength. When you are confused, He gives direction.
Today, don’t be overwhelmed by what you cannot handle. Lift your eyes. Your help is not far away. Heaven is aware of you, and God is already moving on your behalf.
CONFESSION
My help comes from the Lord.
I am never alone and never without support.
God is my strength, my refuge, and my ever-present help.
Divine assistance is working for me right now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
PRAYER
Father, thank You for being my source of help. In every situation where I feel limited, I turn my eyes to You. Step into my circumstances and show Yourself strong on my behalf. I trust in Your power and Your faithfulness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
