EL ROI (THE GOD WHO SEES ME)

Scripture Reading

“And she called the name of the Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me…”
Genesis 16:13 (KJV)

Message

One of the beautiful names of God revealed in Scripture is El Roi—“The God who sees me.” This name was declared by Hagar in a moment of distress, when she felt alone, forgotten, and overwhelmed. Yet, in that very place, God met her.

This reveals a powerful truth: God sees you.

He sees your struggles, your silent prayers, your efforts, and even the things no one else notices. Nothing about your life is hidden from Him. When you feel overlooked or misunderstood, remember that God’s eyes are always upon you.

El Roi is not just the God who sees from a distance; He is the God who cares deeply. His awareness of your situation comes with compassion and intervention. He does not ignore your pain—He responds with love and purpose.

There are moments when life feels uncertain, and you may wonder if your prayers are being heard. But the God who sees you is also the God who answers. He is attentive to every detail of your life and is working behind the scenes for your good.

Let this truth bring you comfort and confidence. You are never alone. You are never forgotten. The God who sees you is actively involved in your life, guiding, protecting, and providing for you.

Confession

God sees me and cares deeply about me.
I am never alone or forgotten.
His eyes are upon me, guiding and protecting me always.
I walk in confidence, knowing that El Roi is with me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
