DAILY GRACE DEVOTIONAL BY EVANG UBONG IFIOK

THE FAVOUR OF GOD SURROUNDS ME
Scripture Reading
“For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”
— Psalm 5:12 (KJV)
Message
God’s favour is not distant—it surrounds you. The Bible says He compasses you with favour as with a shield, meaning you are encircled, covered, and protected by divine advantage everywhere you go.
This favour goes before you, making crooked paths straight. It speaks on your behalf in places you cannot reach. It brings opportunities, connections, and breakthroughs that human effort alone cannot produce.
When you understand that God’s favour surrounds you, you stop living in fear or uncertainty. Instead, you walk with confidence, knowing that everything is aligning for your good. Even situations that seem difficult are being turned around by God’s favour.
Favour also preserves you. Just as a shield protects a soldier, God’s favour guards your life from harm, rejection, and unnecessary struggle. It positions you in the right place at the right time.
Do not limit what God’s favour can do. Speak it over your life daily. Expect it in your journey. Walk in the consciousness that you are divinely surrounded and supported.
Where others see obstacles, you will experience open doors—because God’s favour is working for you.
Confession
The favour of God surrounds me like a shield.
I walk in divine advantage and supernatural alignment.
Doors open for me, and everything works in my favour.
I am protected, preserved, and positioned for greatness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
