Love is More Than Words

Scripture:
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” (1 John 3:18, NIV)

Message:
True love is not just spoken—it is demonstrated. While words of love are important, they must be backed by genuine action. Jesus Christ is the perfect example of love in action. He didn’t just say He loved us; He showed it through His sacrifice on the cross.

Many people claim to love God and others, but love is proven in how we treat those around us. Do we forgive easily? Do we give selflessly? Do we show kindness even when it’s inconvenient? Love is not about convenience; it is about commitment and sacrifice.

God calls us to express love in tangible ways—by helping the needy, encouraging the brokenhearted, and serving without expecting anything in return. Love is more than a feeling; it is a lifestyle that reflects Christ in us.

Prayer:
Father, teach me to love as You do. Let my actions reflect the love of Christ, not just my words. Help me to be selfless, patient, and kind in all I do. May my life be a testimony of Your love in action. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
