Love That Stands the Test of Time
Scripture:
“Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away.” (Song of Solomon 8:7, NIV)
Message:
True love is unshaken by trials, challenges, or the passing of time. The love that comes from God is enduring, steadfast, and unfailing. It is not based on emotions that fade but on a deep commitment that withstands storms and hardships.
God’s love for us is the perfect example of love that stands the test of time. Despite our shortcomings, He remains faithful. His love never wavers, never weakens, and never gives up on us. This is the kind of love we are called to express—to love others with patience, forgiveness, and endurance.
In relationships, marriages, friendships, and even our service to God, love must be more than fleeting feelings. It must be rooted in faith, strengthened by grace, and sustained by God’s presence. When love is tested, it should not break but grow stronger, just as gold is refined by fire.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your love that never fails. Help me to love with endurance, patience, and faithfulness. May my love reflect Your unwavering commitment, standing firm through every season of life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Stay rooted in His Word, walk daily in His grace.
