Title: Strength for the Wasted Places
Scripture:
“The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” — Isaiah 58:11 (NIV)
There are moments in life when certain areas feel barren, lifeless, or forgotten—wasted places. They may be dreams that never took off, relationships that crumbled, or seasons that felt like lost time. But the God we serve specializes in restoring desolate places. He breathes life into dry bones and rebuilds what once lay in ruins.
God is not only the One who sees your wasted places—He is the One who strengthens you to rise from them. He does not waste anything in your life. Even the seasons that seemed empty can be seeds for your future testimony.
When you lean into His strength, those wasted places become the very grounds for His glory. You’ll find renewed purpose, fresh courage, and divine restoration. His strength turns ruins into gardens.
Reflection:
Where do you feel the most depleted or desolate? Invite God’s strength into that space.
Declaration:
I receive strength in the wasted places of my life. What looked barren will bloom again, by the power of God.
