Grace That Makes Me Laugh
đ Scripture:
“And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.”
â Genesis 21:6 KJV
Thereâs a kind of laughter that isnât birthed from comedy or coincidenceâitâs the laughter of grace realized. It comes when the wait is over, when the seemingly impossible becomes reality, and when heavenâs promise finally meets earthâs moment.
Sarahâs story wasnât just about delayed childbirthâit was about the faithfulness of God breaking every natural protocol. She was old, barren, and had laughed in disbelief when God first promised her a son. But when grace stepped in, the same woman who laughed in doubt began laughing in awe.
Thatâs what grace doesâit turns disbelief into dancing, silence into singing, and pain into praise. Grace doesnât need your perfection; it needs your position. It finds you at your lowest and lifts you to divine fulfillment.
Have you ever experienced a moment so overwhelmingly good that you laughedânot because it was funny, but because you were stunned by how good God is? That is the laughter grace gives. Itâs the joy that bubbles from a heart healed, a womb opened, a debt cancelled, a promise fulfilled, a soul restored.
Godâs grace is not abstract or far away. It is near, tangible, and active in your life. If youâre in a waiting season, donât give upâgrace will find you. And when it does, your lips will echo Sarahâs: âGod has made me to laugh!â
The laughter of grace is contagious. It becomes a witness to othersâproof that what seemed dead can live again, that delay is not denial, and that God never forgets.
Youâre about to laughânot out of sarcasm, but because grace has remembered you. Your laughter will be your testimony, and others will laugh with you because of what the Lord has done.
đ Prayer:
Gracious Father, thank You for the kind of grace that overturns impossibilities and turns sorrow into joy. I declare that I am a living testimony of divine grace. My mouth is filled with laughter because You have done wondrous things for me. My life radiates joy, and many will see and glorify You. In Jesusâ Name, Amen.
