Grace That Makes Me Laugh

📖 Scripture:
“And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.”
— Genesis 21:6 KJV

There’s a kind of laughter that isn’t birthed from comedy or coincidence—it’s the laughter of grace realized. It comes when the wait is over, when the seemingly impossible becomes reality, and when heaven’s promise finally meets earth’s moment.

Sarah’s story wasn’t just about delayed childbirth—it was about the faithfulness of God breaking every natural protocol. She was old, barren, and had laughed in disbelief when God first promised her a son. But when grace stepped in, the same woman who laughed in doubt began laughing in awe.

That’s what grace does—it turns disbelief into dancing, silence into singing, and pain into praise. Grace doesn’t need your perfection; it needs your position. It finds you at your lowest and lifts you to divine fulfillment.

Have you ever experienced a moment so overwhelmingly good that you laughed—not because it was funny, but because you were stunned by how good God is? That is the laughter grace gives. It’s the joy that bubbles from a heart healed, a womb opened, a debt cancelled, a promise fulfilled, a soul restored.

God’s grace is not abstract or far away. It is near, tangible, and active in your life. If you’re in a waiting season, don’t give up—grace will find you. And when it does, your lips will echo Sarah’s: “God has made me to laugh!”

The laughter of grace is contagious. It becomes a witness to others—proof that what seemed dead can live again, that delay is not denial, and that God never forgets.

You’re about to laugh—not out of sarcasm, but because grace has remembered you. Your laughter will be your testimony, and others will laugh with you because of what the Lord has done.

🛐 Prayer:

Gracious Father, thank You for the kind of grace that overturns impossibilities and turns sorrow into joy. I declare that I am a living testimony of divine grace. My mouth is filled with laughter because You have done wondrous things for me. My life radiates joy, and many will see and glorify You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
