DAILY GRACE DEVOTIONAL BY EVANG UBONG IFIOK

THURSDAY, MARCH 26TH
YOU ARE A NEW CREATION
Scripture Reading
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
Message
When you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you were made a new creation. Your past—every mistake, failure, and regret—has been nailed to the cross and no longer defines you. God gave you a brand-new identity, full of hope, purpose, and divine potential.
Being a new creation is more than just a title; it is a lifestyle. It means that your thoughts, actions, and choices are being renewed day by day. Old habits that once controlled you no longer have authority because the life of Christ now dwells within you.
This transformation is not gradual by your strength alone—it is powered by the Holy Spirit. As you spend time in the Word, prayer, and obedience, the new nature God placed in you becomes stronger and more evident to the world around you.
Remember, your new creation identity is protected, purposeful, and powerful. Do not allow shame, guilt, or condemnation from the past to pull you back. Walk boldly, knowing that you are God’s workmanship, created for good works, and destined to impact the world.
Live every day in the reality that you are new, you are free, and you are empowered to walk in victory.
Confession
I am a new creation in Christ.
The old has passed away, and the new has come.
I walk in freedom, purpose, and divine potential.
I am empowered by the Holy Spirit to live a victorious life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
