HE IS MY ANCHOR

Scripture Reading

“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast…”
Hebrews 6:19 (KJV)

Message

In a world full of uncertainties, changes, and challenges, God remains our sure and steadfast anchor. An anchor provides stability, keeping a ship from drifting regardless of the waves or storms. In the same way, our hope in God keeps us grounded and secure.

Life may bring unexpected situations—delays, disappointments, or difficulties—but when your trust is anchored in God, you are not moved. His Word is unchanging, His promises are reliable, and His faithfulness never fails.

When storms arise, the natural response may be fear or anxiety. But as a believer, your confidence is not in circumstances—it is in God. He holds you steady, strengthens your heart, and guides you through every season.

Being anchored in God means staying connected to Him through His Word, prayer, and faith. It means choosing to trust Him even when you don’t fully understand what is happening. The stronger your connection to Him, the more stable your life becomes.

No matter what you face, remember this: you are not drifting, you are anchored. God is holding you firm, and He will bring you safely through every storm.

Confession

God is my anchor, and I am secure in Him.
I am not moved by circumstances.
My hope is firm and steadfast in God’s Word.
I stand strong, stable, and unshaken, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
