RETURNING WITH PRAISE
“And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God.”
— Luke 17:15 (KJV)
Praise is the natural response of a heart that recognizes God’s goodness. In the account of the ten lepers, all were healed, but only one returned to give glory to God. His action reveals a powerful spiritual truth: gratitude preserves and perfects the work of God in a person’s life.
Returning with praise is more than saying thank you; it is an acknowledgment of God as the source of every blessing. It reflects humility, faith, and spiritual understanding. When you return with praise, you demonstrate that you value the Giver more than the gift.
Praise deepens your fellowship with God. It positions you for greater manifestations and lasting impact. Jesus noted that the one who returned was made whole—showing that praise brings completeness, not just results. It perfects what grace has begun.
As believers, we must cultivate the habit of praise—not only when prayers are answered, but continually. Praise keeps your heart aligned with God, your spirit sensitive to His presence, and your life open to divine increase.
Today, choose to return with praise. Celebrate God’s goodness, testify of His faithfulness, and glorify Him openly. When you honor God with praise, He perfects His work in you and causes your life to radiate His glory.
Hallelujah!
