No More Stagnation

SCRIPTURE: “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”Isaiah 43:18–19 (NIV)

MESSAGE

Stagnation is not God’s design for your life. He is a God of movement, growth, and fresh beginnings. When things seem stuck — spiritually, emotionally, or even physically — it can feel discouraging. But God specializes in breaking cycles and starting new seasons.

The children of Israel wandered in the wilderness for years, yet when their season changed, progress began. The same God who led them through the desert led them into promise. Delay did not cancel destiny — it prepared them for it.

Sometimes stagnation is not about ability; it is about mindset. Dwelling on past failures, disappointments, or missed opportunities can quietly keep you in place. God says, “Forget the former things.” Not because they didn’t matter, but because they don’t define your future.

When God declares a new thing, it may start small — like a seed breaking through soil. But growth has already begun. You may not see full results yet, but movement is happening. Trust that what feels quiet is not inactive.

Today, align your heart with forward motion. Pray boldly. Take obedient steps. Refuse to settle for less than God’s best. The season of standing still is over — a new chapter is unfolding.

CONFESSION

There is no stagnation in my life.
God is doing a new thing for me.
I move forward with clarity, strength, and purpose.
Every cycle of delay is broken, and progress begins now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
