Sent to Reach the Lost
Scripture: “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” — Luke 19:10 (KJV)
Message
The heart of God has always been for the lost. Jesus did not come merely to establish a religion — He came to restore people back to the Father. His mission was clear: seek and save.
When you received Christ, you didn’t just receive salvation; you received an assignment.
Just as the Father sent Jesus, He now sends you. You are called to carry light into dark places, hope into broken situations, and truth into confused hearts. You are not saved to sit — you are saved to be sent.
The lost are not always far away. They are in your classroom, your workplace, your neighborhood, and even within your circle of friends. Some are searching openly; others are silently longing for answers. Your obedience may be the bridge between them and their breakthrough.
You don’t need perfect words. You need compassion. You don’t need a title. You need willingness. The Holy Spirit will guide your conversations and prepare hearts ahead of you.
Never underestimate the power of a simple invitation, a shared testimony, or a moment of prayer. Eternity can shift because you said “yes” to God.
Confession
I am sent by God to reach the lost.
My life reflects His love and truth.
The Holy Spirit gives me boldness and wisdom.
Through me, souls are drawn to Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Prayer
Father, give me Your heart for the lost. Open my eyes to opportunities around me. Make me sensitive to the leading of the Spirit and courageous in sharing the gospel. Use my life to bring many into Your Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
