His Standards Are Unchanging
Scripture:
“For I am the Lord, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.” — Malachi 3:6
Message:
The world is constantly evolving, with shifting values, trends, and beliefs. What is acceptable today may be dismissed tomorrow. Yet, amid all this change, one truth remains unshakable: God’s standards are eternal and unchanging. His word is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
God’s unchanging standards reflect His perfect nature. He is holy, righteous, and just. His commands and promises are not subject to revision based on cultural or societal preferences. This steadfastness provides us with a firm foundation for our lives. It gives us assurance that the God who kept His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will also be faithful to us.
When we align our lives with God’s unchanging standards, we walk in the path of life and blessing. However, when we deviate, we experience the consequences of our choices. Thankfully, God’s grace is available to help us return to Him. His standards do not change, but His mercy is always extended to those who seek Him in repentance.
Let us commit ourselves to studying His Word and living by it. In doing so, we will find stability, peace, and fulfillment in a world full of uncertainty.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being unchanging and constant in a world of uncertainty. Help me to align my life with Your perfect standards and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Teach me to trust in Your unchanging promises and to live a life that honors You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
