Be Still and Know

Scripture:
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” – Psalm 46:10

Message:
In the fast-paced world we live in, silence and stillness are often overlooked. Yet, it is in moments of stillness that God’s voice becomes clear and His presence most profound. To “be still” is to pause, surrender, and trust entirely in God’s sovereignty. It is not the absence of activity but the intentional act of quieting your heart before Him.

When challenges arise and the storms of life rage, the natural reaction is to fret, worry, or attempt to fix things in our strength. However, God calls us to a different posture—one of trust and calmness. Knowing that He is God means recognizing His infinite power, wisdom, and love. It is the assurance that He is in control, working all things for your good, even when circumstances seem overwhelming.

Take time today to be still before God. In His presence, you will find peace that surpasses understanding, strength to face the day, and clarity for the path ahead. Let His stillness calm your heart and remind you that He is God, exalted and victorious in every situation.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, teach me to be still in Your presence. Help me to trust in Your sovereignty and rest in the knowledge that You are always in control. Fill my heart with peace and let Your presence guide me in all I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
