Access to the King’s Table

📖 Anchor Scripture:
2 Samuel 9:7 (NKJV)“So David said to him, ‘Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.’”

Message:

In the story of Mephibosheth, the lame son of Jonathan, we see a profound picture of grace. He was living in Lo-Debar—a place of barrenness, obscurity, and shame. Yet, because of covenant, King David sent for him and gave him a permanent seat at the king’s table.

This is what God has done for us in Christ. By the blood of Jesus, we have been delivered from rejection, shame, and obscurity. We now have full access to the King’s table—a place of honor, abundance, and fellowship.

At the King’s table, every need is met, every provision is supplied, and every weakness is covered. When Mephibosheth sat at the table, his lameness was hidden; all that could be seen was his position of privilege. Likewise, when you sit at God’s table, your limitations are swallowed up in His grace.

You are no longer an outsider or a beggar—you are a covenant child, chosen and favored. Approach the table with boldness, partake of His goodness, and remember: your access is not temporary. It is eternal, secured by the blood of Jesus.

Confession:

I have access to the King’s table through Christ Jesus.
I walk in honor, abundance, and divine favor.
My past, my shame, and my limitations are covered by His grace.
I will never beg, for my seat is secured in Christ.
