CHRIST’S CANDIDATES

Scripture Reading

“For many are called, but few are chosen.”
Matthew 22:14 (KJV)

Message

God’s call goes out to everyone, but not everyone responds. The Gospel invitation is extended to all, yet those who respond in faith become partakers of the life and purpose found in Christ.

As a believer, you are not just saved—you are selected for a purpose. You are a candidate of Christ, chosen to represent Him, reflect His nature, and carry out His mission on the earth.

Being Christ’s candidate means yielding yourself to His will. It means allowing His Word to shape your life and His Spirit to guide your steps. It is a life of intentional obedience, where your priorities align with God’s Kingdom.

In the parable Jesus shared, those who were invited had excuses and missed the opportunity. This teaches us the importance of responding promptly and wholeheartedly to God’s call. Half-hearted commitment cannot fulfill a divine assignment.

God is looking for hearts that are willing, available, and committed. When you say “yes” to Him, He equips you, empowers you, and uses you for His glory.

Choose to respond daily. Let your life reflect your calling. You are not ordinary—you are chosen for God’s purpose.

Confession

I am chosen by Christ for a divine purpose.
I respond wholeheartedly to God’s call.
My life reflects His will, and I walk in obedience daily.
Through me, God’s purpose is fulfilled on the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
