Back to the Place of Joy
Scripture Focus:
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.” — Psalm 51:12 (ESV)
Life can be heavy. Seasons come where joy seems distant, and the vibrant spark of your walk with God dims. But God’s desire is not for you to stay in the shadows. He invites you back—to the place of joy, the place where your spirit danced in His presence.
David, after falling and faltering, cried out for restoration. He didn’t just ask for forgiveness—he longed for joy to return. That same restoration is available to you today.
Joy isn’t rooted in perfect circumstances but in divine connection. And the good news is: you can come back. Back to laughter, back to worship, back to purpose. God’s arms are wide open.
Prayer:
Lord, restore to me the joy I once knew. Bring me back to the delight of knowing You, walking with You, and trusting You. Let Your joy be my strength again. Amen.
