DAILY GRACE DEVOTIONAL BY EVANG. UBONG IFIOK

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11TH
LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE
Scripture Reading
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
— Matthew 5:14 (KJV)
Message
As a believer in Christ, you carry the light of God within you. Jesus declared that His followers are the light of the world. This means your life is meant to illuminate darkness and point others toward God’s truth.
Light does not struggle to be seen; it naturally shines wherever it is placed. In the same way, when you live according to God’s Word, your actions, character, and attitude reflect His presence. People around you begin to notice the difference.
Letting your light shine means living with integrity, kindness, and faith. It means showing love when others expect indifference, offering encouragement when others feel discouraged, and standing for truth even when it is unpopular.
Your light may shine through simple acts of compassion, through wise words, or through the way you handle challenges with peace and confidence. Every moment becomes an opportunity to demonstrate the reality of God’s grace in your life.
Do not hide the light God has placed within you. Shine boldly so that others may see the goodness of God and be inspired to seek Him.
Confession
The light of Christ shines through me.
My life reflects God’s love, truth, and grace.
Wherever I go, darkness gives way to light.
Through my life, many are drawn to God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
